Big Spud Daddy & the Guinness Aires is the rusult of Dennis and Sandy’s fascination and love affair with the music of Ireland and Scotland. After years of playing Rock & Roll and R&B, traditional Celtic music offers new and unique challenges that are rewarding beyond expectations. Other musician friends became interested and suddenly we had a brand new group whick models itself after Danu, Dervish and Old Blind Dogs, along with other modern bands that play traditional music with contemporary “twists” that bring new energy and passion to age old tunes and songs.
